salry was hiked vide a settlement w.e.f. 23.04.2011. there is a delay in implementing the settlement.the hiked salary was paid in january 2012 with arrears. whether contribution of ESI dues are to be deposited on the arears i.e. on the differential salary from april 2011 to december 2011
