I joined a software company in India and they deputed me to London for a client. Now my contract with my Company says that i cannot join any company which serves the same client for 1 year. I am planning to Join the same client in Singapore through a different company.

Can my company file a case against me as breaching the contract terms ? please let me know urgently as my career is depending on it.

I think your company can restrain you from joining the said company.
reasonable restriction can be provided in the employment contract to protect competitiveness.
