2. Local extent. It extends to the territories 2[ which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956 , were comprised in the States of Punjab and Delhi], but not so as to alter the effect of any regulations made for any parts of the said territories under the 1[ Statute 33 Vict, ch. 3, section 1; Commencment. and it shall come into force on the first day of June, 1872 .
