:ORDER
This writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petition submitted by the petitioner and other people of Periyakurukkai Village, on 26.07.2010, to assign Acre 90.40 cents of land situated in Sanamangalam Village S.F.Nos.495, 496, 497/1, 497/3, 498, 520, 527, 528, 608, 609, 611 and 612.
2. Mr.R.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 26.07.2010, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation, dated 26.07.2010, along with a copy of this order, to the first respondent. However, it is made clear, that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
